Cauliflower 65 (Dry)


    This blog and my readers (specially You) have been one of the beat of my heart for the past some months now. But for the past some days, I always regretted for not posting new recipe because of unpredictable schedule after vacation. But today, I’m back with some super easy and tempting recipe. Let’s cheers for my come back and start the recipe for “Cauliflower 65”……..
    Cauliflower 65 is truly enticing and mouth watery. It’s very popular appetizer. Today I am going to share recipe which has no lanky technique and process. You can call it, Instant Cauliflower 65 too. It’s just that quick.  And maybe you guys are bored of eating just two or three kind of cauliflower dishes, and if you really are ….then yes, this is great version of Cauliflower. This fried cauliflower goes with almost all kind of soups too.
   I am sharing recipe for Cauliflower 65, dry version but it is always good with some sauce and gravy (cauliflower 65 wet) too. So shall we start for recipe now…?
 
Ingredients::
*1 Cauliflower (medium- large)

*3tbls All purpose flour

*4tbls Corn starch

*½ tbls Ginger-Garlic paste

*1tsp Red chilli paste

*3/4tbls Chicken65 masala

*1/2tsp Black pepper powder

*3tbls Chopped cilantro

*1tbls Chopped Curry leaves

*1 or 2 Green chillies(slices)

*3 or 4 Curry leaves

*Salt according to taste

*Oil for deep fry

Method::

*Cut cauliflower into florets.

*Blanch them in boiling hot water for 1 minute.

*Take big mixing bowl.
*Add ginger-garlic paste, chopped cilantro, chopped curry leaves, red chili paste, chicken 65 masala,
 
black pepper powder, all purpose flour, corn starch, salt and water as needed.
*Mix all together and make thick batter.
*Pour the batter on to the cauliflower florets.
*Coat them with batter well.
*Cover the mixing bowl.
*Keep on side at least for 10-15 mints.
*Heat the oil for deep fry.
*Fry the cauliflower florets till light red color.
*Let them cool down.
*Heat the oil again and fry all the cauliflower florets along with slices and green chillies and curry leaves again for more crispy texture.
*Serve this hot.
****Remember: Deep fry the cauliflower florets twice for more crispiness.

**** If you have any leftover batter of Cauliflower 65, just add some corn in it and fry them separately and your Fulzadi Corns will ready in no time.****

Good Food Good Mood


   Hello, hello, and here I am back from a little hiatus. I know, it’s been a while since I posted recipe but guess what? I was on a “dream vacation”. Really it’s hard to get back in routine after a great hospitality of back home and all the pampering of vacation but the show must go on…
      Coming back to the home is a sensation feeling for me, yes, I am a homesick girl, and wanted to reach back badly. Though, it’s hard to wrap up incredible memories of dream vacation but nothing beats more than being home for me. No matter in how royal and luxurious places we stayed and dinned but getting back into our comfort of our home and treating our senses into homemade food felt heavenly peaceful. After few jet lag days and rubbing sleep from my eyes, I’m back in routine now. We had many delicious dishes in our vacation in London, Paris and India, that tempted me to share few bits and pieces of it. And today is the day, I am taking you all on the food journey…wouldn’t that be delightful…get ready to dive in with me with some amazing food we had on our journey.
   Let’s start from London…. Here are some the famous Bhajiya’s from Maroo’s Bhajiya.
You can search up the famous place on internet and you will be amazed at its popularity.
   Next stop will be at Jimmy’s restaurant, ensure to pay a visit whenever you are next in London. They serve different varieties of world cuisine at one cool place. Really all dishes are more than lip-smacking. I bet it’s one of those places which you have never seen before. So whether you’re craving Indian, Chinese, Italian or Mexican it’s all here and no one walks away hungry from this restaurant.
   After such spicy and salty main course dinner “Kuch Meetha To Banta Hai”J
   When you walk around in the city, don’t forget to stop by at any local convenience store to grab some delicious snacks of your choice.

   Next stop is my motherland, India.
   You have to try Gujarati Thali once you are in Gujarat. So we are at Gokul Thal, Vadodara for some authentic lunch.
    After full Gujju Thali at lunch, need some light dinner like sandwiches!!!!Here are the delicious pictures of some awesome sandwiches and Focaccia from Qwiches..
   Okay, now I would love to take you at the most delightful restaurant and it is “the Yellow chilli” by the greatest chef in India Sanjeev Kappor.
  Each and every dish has touch of the great chef and the presentation was awesome. So you guys also deserve the look of all food,right!!!
    Here are some chaat and mouthwatering and huge variety of all mix cuisines dishes from one of the best restaurant at Vadodara, The Surya Palace. You will believe me once you see the pictures of them.:)
   My family has a sweet tooth and our day never ends without Havmor’s Ice cream, yummy, yes you guessed it!

    Okay, guess one last time… Where did I stop by at? No guesses anymore..,,,hummmm. Don’t worry take a look of my favorite in all. At Wood Apple’s(Kothu) stall….Stall of lots of childhood memories for almost all of us. So grab them as much as you can….:)

Nutella Pancake Kababs

  
 Good Morning!!! It’s Breakfast time…..
So, I’m back again with just few ingredients and rapid recipe for breakfast. Are you all ready to eat very obvious breakfast in some vogue.
Here’s a Nutella Pancake Kababs. The name says everything, right? Yes, just need few ingredients and it will be ready just in jiffy. And also a great idea to kick up a day to feed kids, who don’t like to eat fruits. I also used Nutella in this recipe, and I am 100% sure that, Nutella is the food of the gods. And that is why, this recipe transform a delicious fruits and mini pancake kabob into something really divine for all.

Let’s get started,

Ingredients:
1     cup Pancake Mix
½ cup Nutella
2 tbls Honey or Pancake syrup
1 Banana(peeled and sliced)
5-6 Straberries(sliced)
2     Skewers
Method:
*Preapare the pancake batter according to directions and make small dabs from batter onto hot griddle. Or the other way just make regular size pancakes and cut it in small pancakes with help of round cookie cutter.
*Cook the pancake on both sides and transfer in to another dish.
*Spread some Nutella on each of the mini pancakes.
*Impale the fruits and mini pancakes onto he skewers.
*Serve immediately.
*Drizzle honey or pancake syrup on Kababs.

*Enjoy.

Green Soyabeans Sabji

Hello there!!!

    And today, I am back with another green soybean recipe. It’s also very easy and clever recipe, so get ready for a flavorsome recipe. "Green soybeans Sabji”!!!!
This is it… The name says everything about the recipe and in this recipe you don’t need too many ingredients too. You can just make is perfect and delicious at very first attempt. Obviously, you have to follow the recipe step by step.
   Desi recipes are my all time favorite. Since, I like to play with Indian cuisines the most. I tried this recipe totally inspired by Gujarati Dish, called “Undhiyu” and believe me it comes out even more delicious by using this Green Soybeans. Soybeans are full of protein and healthy. And If you guys are really not using these green soybeans more often then try this recipe, I bet you would start staking these Green Soybeans in your fridge for sure. I used Frozen soybeans, usually I am not much into frozen vegetables but I kind of really love with these soybeans. They comes so green and really cooks faster. I used frozen once but if you hold of the fresh green soybeans, always great!!!
I also used some few more vegetables in these recipe and you guys always add or subtract the vegetables of your choice in this recipe.
So let’s get started for this easy and good recipe,,,
Ingredients:
2 tbls Oil
1 tbls Ghee
¼ tbls Ajwayan(carom) Seeds
½ tbls Mustard seeds
A pinch of Asafetida
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
2 Tomatoes(roughly diced)
1 1/3 cup Green Soybean
1 bowl Mixed Potatoes and Eggplants(roughly diced)
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Green chili paste
¼ cup shredded coconut
1 tsp Red chili powder
½ tsp Paprika powder
½ tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Sugar(prefer brown sugar)
1 tbls Lemon juice
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Chopped cilantro for garnish.
Method:
·       Heat the pan and add oil and ghee.
·       Add mustard seeds and ajwayan seeds.
·       Add asafetida and turmeric powder.
·       Add tomatoes and cook for couple of minutes.
·       Add green chili paste, garlic paste and ginger paste and sauté on low flame.
·       Add green soybeans and diced potatoes and eggplants.
·       Add red chili powder, paprika powder and garam masala.
·       Add shredded coconut.
·       Add ½ cup of water and salt as taste.
·       Cover the pan and let it cook for a while.
·       Stir in between and add water if needed.
       Add sugar and lemon juice once sabji is almost done.
·       Turn off the stove and garnish with chopped cilantro.
It’s as easy as this and the taste is awesome.You can serve this Green Soybeans Sabji with Roti, Phulka and Paraths.
